Production Plant Office & Warehouse – Genetec Access Control Migration & Turnstile Integration

Regional Tech LLC successfully took over an existing Software House access control system for a production plant office and warehouse facility and migrated it to a Genetec Security Center platform. The project included the installation, termination, programming, testing, and commissioning of 32 access-controlled doors, 32 request-to-exit (REX) motions, and 32 door position switches (DPS) to provide secure, reliable access control and continuous door status monitoring throughout the facility.

The scope also included the integration of two turnstile gates into the Genetec platform, allowing centralized management of both pedestrian and door access from a single enterprise security system. All doors and turnstiles were fully tested to verify proper credential access, REX operation, door-held-open and forced-entry alarms, and overall system functionality.

The completed project delivered a modern, scalable, enterprise-grade access control solution that enhances security for the production plant’s office and warehouse operations while improving operational efficiency and centralized security management.
